“STOP RUSSIA AT ONCE, STUPIDS”

“STOP RUSSIA AT ONCE, STUPIDS”

"It's the economy, stupid" was the phrase which James Carville coined as a campaign strategist of Bill Clinton's successful 1992 presidential campaign against president George W. Bush. Sometimes obvious truths must be remembered in a strong language because people, public opinion, medias or politicians, trying to avoid bigger conflicts, became almost blind when they are before common sense answers.

Yesterday, a second turkish aircraft (this time a plane searching the wrecks of the first one destroyed by the syrians a few days ago) was spotted and dammaged by syrian artillery. Turkey is an important piece of NATO and it is a natural next step to consider that national security is endangered by the crazy play pushed by Poutine and Bachar al Assad. We still are very far from a serious war, but this is the right way you finish in a nasty regional confict.
